Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / NICU / Pediatrics – Laramie, WY | 8-Week Contract

MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel assignment at Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, Wyoming. This is a Rapid Response Crisis opportunity for an RN with strong experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care Nursery, NICU, and Pediatrics.

  • Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Shift: Rotating

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, Special Care Nursery, and Pediatric patients.
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Monitor maternal and newborn patients throughout treatment and recovery.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
  • Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Active Wyoming RN License
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent hospital RN experience
  • Recent Labor & Delivery experience required
  • Special Care Nursery and NICU experience required
  • Pediatric nursing experience required
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification
  • Current PALS Certification
  • Current NRP Certification
  • Experience using Epic EMR preferred
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
