Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts (36 or 48 Hours/Week)
Pay Rate: $56โ€“$58/hr

Estimated Weekly Pay:

  • 36 Hours: $2,016โ€“$2,088/week

Job Summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool RN to provide high-quality patient care across multiple critical care areas, including ICU, Stepdown (PCU), Med-Surg, Day Stay, PACU, and Emergency Department. Candidates must maintain competencies across all assigned units and possess current Epic EMR experience.


Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU, PCU/Stepdown, ER, or High-Risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 5 years

  • Critical Care Course or equivalent experience preferred

  • Experience caring for telemetry and cardiac patients

  • Ability to float between ICU, PCU, Med-Surg, PACU, Day Stay, and ER

  • Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills

  • Current Epic EMR experience required


Required Credentials
  • Active California RN License

  • BLS Certification

  • ACLS Certification

  • PALS Certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire/transfer)

  • TNCC Certification (or currently enrolled in an upcoming TNCC course)

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required

  • BSN preferred

Clinical Skills

Candidates should have experience with:

  • Cardiac telemetry monitoring

  • ECG rhythm interpretation

  • Post-coronary intervention care

  • Femoral sheath removal using Femostop

  • Post-pacemaker and AICD patient management

  • Blood product administration

  • IV therapy and critical care medications

  • Emergency response and rapid patient assessment
