Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-orientated Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join our team who can provide care and support to our patients.

What Are We Looking For?

The Float Pool Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides direct patient care and support services under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. This position is assigned to multiple patient care areas based on hospital staffing and patient care needs, including Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care (PCU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), Skilled Nursing Unit (SNF), Women's Services, and other departments as appropriate. The Float Pool PCT demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to adapt quickly to varying patient populations and workflows.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent patient care experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous acute care experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • An annual influenza vaccination is required.
