Job Summary:
The Ascent Group, LLC is seeking a PC Support Administrator to provide IT support to end users and maintain the workstation environment. The role involves installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software, while ensuring effective communication and training for internal customers.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Point of contact (POC) for IT communications with internal customers.
โ€ข Communicate procedures for proper utilization of digital and IT solutions.
โ€ข Assist in onboarding and training new employees/users with IT related functionality.
โ€ข IT infrastructure support โ€“ PC, servers, firewall, switches, printers, etc
โ€ข Hands on support of local business team โ€“ hardware, software, access.
โ€ข Assist in manufacturing equipment technical troubleshooting.
โ€ข Manage expectations, recommend modifications of basic IT systems to improve and simplify.
โ€ข Collaboration with vendors on IT infrastructure support and upgrades
โ€ข Drive adherence to IT security compliance.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline. Combination of school and extensive experience will be considered.
โ€ข 2+ years' experience in Information Technology
โ€ข Experience with VM environments
โ€ข Strong troubleshooting aptitude
