Looking for an Infrastructure Engineer-Jr., but this will be more of a customer service position with IT support.

-Looking for someone with an understanding of organization, communication, customer service.

-This role will maintain high levels of customer service. Interpersonal skills needed, as well as ability to collaborate.

-Role will involve taking questions from business partners, viewing client data, helping with IT asset management systems, organizing and reviewing hardware inventories, looking up warranty status on hardware, reviewing requests, submitting security requests for logins to website, working with BUs to assist advisors with questions and needs. All will be internal information.

-In house training on Principal systems and business knowledge will be provided.

-Training turnaround is 4 months.

-Soft skills important here. Call Center or Customer Service experience

-Need someone with a 4-year degree in MIS or CS (Computer Science)

A panel of leaders for this team include (Steven Ringhofer, Amanda Leopard, Steven Kirkpatrick, Colin Scott, Jon Peters). Steven and 1 of the additional people for the interviews Rd1. Rd2 interviews will include Kate Gassmann.

Day to Day:

- They could be assisting with the roll out of new equipment (imaging, software installation, handling the migrations) or they could be answering business partner’s technical calls, emails, IM’s, etc.

- Technologies or systems that will utilized : Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office, PFG proprietary software, Mobile Devices, Laptop/Desktop/iPad, Citrix Receiver/XenDesktop/XenApp, Cisco networking LAN/WAN/Wireless

- Must Haves

*Relevant internship or professional experience in an IT customer service, IT support or IT troubleshooting role or related experience. Also need FACE to FACE Support - Basic planning/organizational, time management, decision-making, and superb written/verbal communication skills • Must be able to maintain accuracy and confidentiality • Possess strong problem-solving and big-picture/conceptual skills • Must be able to work with people at all levels and demonstrate the ability to understand and embrace change

- - Size and culture of the team - - They're a team of about 50 people. Primarily providing hardware/software support through calls, walkup, email and IM. They support roughly 4,000 people throughout the US. They’re a little different than other support teams, as they don’t have a tiered helpdesk and they don’t escalate issues between technicians on the team. Instead they have a strong focus on collaboration within the team. Communication is key as well.
