Description 

The GeoprobeAssembly Technician works with a team to assemble technical drilling equipment for the following industries: environmental, geotechnical, water well, and geothermal. This is not an assembly line. Assembly Technicians use detailed schematics to build complex machines and are given a variety of work in their day-to-day schedules. Successful candidates will be highly mechanical with strong hands-on and problem-solving skills, committed to high-quality work, comfortable working with a team, and driven to finish tasks on time.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Build components and assemble drilling machines from start to finish. 
  • Apply knowledge of hydraulic systems, power trains, and DC electrical systems to assemble machinery, systems, and equipment according to specifications and blueprints. 
  • Conduct detailed quality inspections on assembled parts and systems to ensure they meet the required standards.  
  • Work closely with other team members, openly sharing knowledge and contributing to the team's collective success. 
  • Complete start up process and test machine to confirm functionality and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement - for the team, employee, company, or customer. 
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Farm work experience and/or heavy equipment use is helpful but not required
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
