Job Summary and Qualifications

*1. Promptly answers all incoming calls and assists in placing out-going calls.  


*2. Responds to code phone, code computer or wall panel alarms which takes priority over any calls except the fire alarm and making sure that appropriate personnel are notified. 


*3. Monitors fire panel alarms, wall alarms, code phone and code computer where applicable, contacting the fire department and other appropriate personnel when needed. 


*4. Pages on web based paging system and switch board for authorized personnel, physician sand emergency calls. 


 5. Places long distance and Watts Line Calls for various departments and doctors' offices. 


*6.Assists patients by advising how to place local and long distance calls. 


7.Answers patient information calls whenever necessary. 


*8.Document vital information to assist supervisor in maintaining current files with the daily PBX operations. 


What qualifications you will need:



EXPERIENCE 


Required - 2 years switchboard experience.  


Preferred -Experience operator with at least 5 years of experience. 


EDUCATION 


Preferred -Graduate with previous switchboard experience. Medical terminology a plus. 


This will be a part time night shift position  9pm-9am Wednesday and Thursday.
