The People Business Partner (PBP) Enablement Planning Lead is responsible for the day-to-day design, execution, reporting, and insights behind the PBP planning and management system. Working closely with the PBP Enablement Leader, Finance, Analytics, and People Leadership Team (PLT) PBP leaders, this role turns data into clear materials and insights that help leaders make informed decisions.
","responsibilities":"Resource Modeling and Analytics
Lead PBP headcount modeling and resource planning process in partnership with Finance and PLT PBP leaders.
Track and analyze PBP spans and ratios to inform resourcing and allocation recommendations.
Own PBP mapping and allocation to ensure coverage matches business structure, size, and complexity.
Identify coverage gaps, capacity risks, and optimization opportunities, and surface clear recommendations.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date allocation and coverage data.
Planning, Measurement, and Management System
Build and maintain the PBP planning and management system that supports business planning
Ensure the management system balances rigor, simplicity, and adaptability and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Translate data and resource planning into decision-ready materials for PBP leadership
Partner with the analytics team to define and deliver PBP dashboards and reporting that enable key insights
Define and evolve the PBP measurement strategy, including KPIs, health indicators, and metrics tied to impact and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
Experience facilitating leadership meetings or planning forums.
Ability to translate complex data into concise, executive-level narratives and recommendations.
Strong planning, organization, and synthesis skills.
Comfort operating across ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving business needs.
Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.
Minimum Qualifications
6-8+ years of experience in HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, and People Strategy.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience building workforce, capacity, or resource models using Excel or Tableau
Experience supporting senior HR leadership through structured planning, analytics, and decision support.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
