Position Overview

Lyra Behavioral Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team. Work Environment

This full-time remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a direct impact on client mental health outcomes. You'll have the flexibility to set your own hours, empowering you to manage your schedule effectively. Our outpatient office model means you will engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions, utilizing the latest technological platforms to provide a secure and confidential therapy space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ mental and emotional well-being, using standardized tools and interviews to gain insight into their needs.
  • Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans that consider each client's unique circumstances, goals, and preferences.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients of varying ages, addressing diverse issues including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma.
  • Provide couples therapy to assist partners in developing healthier communication skills, resolving conflicts, and enhancing their relationships.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult with other healthcare professionals to support holistic client care, facilitating referrals as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements, continually integrating new therapeutic techniques and best practices into your work.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Engage in crisis intervention, offering support to clients in acute distress or facing emergencies.
  • Advocate for clientsโ€™ rights and well-being, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment plans and support services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at Lyra Behavioral Center includes a diverse range of individuals, from adolescents navigating the complexities of growing up to couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. Our therapists work with clients who experience various mental health concerns, from mild emotional distress to more severe psychological disorders. As an LMFT, you will play a crucial role in helping clients identify their goals and achieve improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.
  • Must hold active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board, with a commitment to ethical practice standards.
  • Proficient in conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining progress documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to utilize electronic health record systems effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with both individual clients and couples in a therapeutic setting.
  • Background in working with children or adolescents is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete documentation efficiently and in a timely manner.
Compensation and Benefits

Lyra Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
