This Opportunity:
Palladium is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Finance& Compliance to be a vital member of the Palladium Americas businessunit Finance department. Palladium has been awarded a large Fixed Price USGovernment agreement and is hiring a corporate finance position to provide financialoversight and ensure compliance on behalf of the organization.
This position will also assist the Finance department witha wide range of ad hoc tasks including accounting operations, business unitreporting, payroll, project financial management, forecasting and budgeting,audit and compliance, payroll reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, NICRAtracking incurred cost submission support, and supporting internationalaccounting tasks.
Location:
The position is based in Palladium's Arlington, VAoffice within our Americas region. Candidates must have current US workauthorization as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.
Palladium supports a hybrid working model with 3 days in office, 2 days fromhome.
Compensation:
The full-time equivalent annual base salary for thisposition is expected to range from $150,000 to $185,000. Please beadvised that a final salary offer will be based on various factors, includingbut not limited to your qualifications, education, experience, skills,seniority, performance, and Palladium's business or organizational needs.
Reporting Lines:
  • The Senior Manager will report directly to the Vice President, Finance
  • The role will not have supervisory responsibilities
  • This role will also require working closely with the Project Team and Americas CEO ensuring timely and accurate internal financial compliance and reporting

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on project financial performance, risks, opportunities, and decision-making support
  • Lead project financial management including forecasting, budgeting, revenue recognition, fee analysis, unbilled receivables, SF-425 reporting, performance scorecards, and financial health assessments
  • Monitor funding, expenditures, and project performance while identifying financial risks, variances, and mitigation strategies to ensure compliance and achievement of financial targets
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership and stakeholders
  • Support project buy-ins, modifications, and funding actions through financial reviews, pricing analysis, and compliance with U.S. Government regulations and contract requirements
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting accuracy
  • Maintain strong internal controls, financial governance, risk management practices, and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations
  • Partner with project teams, local finance staff, tax advisors, and auditors to support financial compliance, payroll reviews, audits, indirect cost rate monitoring, and NICRA requirements
  • Deliver financial training as needed and support project activities, including travel and other duties as required

Core Abilities Required:
  • Strong financial management, accounting, business administration, and analytical skills with experience supporting complex financial operations
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, Government accounting regulations, CAS, FAR, and a variety of government and commercial contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and Time & Materials
  • Advanced Excel expertise with experience managing complex financial models, tracking systems, global finance platforms, and large datasets to support reporting and decision-making
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, planning, and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information, build relationships, and work effectively both independently and within teams
  • Experience supporting corporate and project audits, internal controls, compliance activities, and financial governance processes
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office applications and experience using Deltek Costpoint to support financial management and reporting
  • Adaptable, quick learner who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple priorities, and responds effectively to changing business needs
    Desirable Criteria:
  • Deep knowledge of Excel functions including the ability to manipulate data and formatting and a thorough understanding of pivot tables and look up functions
  • Experience with Termination Settlement Proposals with the US Government
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint
