Description
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll. The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for ensuring that the end-user experience and processes are as seamless as possible. The Payroll PM will work alongside the broader workstreams to determine process impacts from different internal customer perspectives and collaborate on best practices and processes for change management. Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into project objectives.
  • Oversee system testing, data migration, user acceptance testing and training activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve system implementation problems and overall system performance.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful system integration with timekeeping and benefits systems and vendors.
  • Write and prepare system user documentation, instructional guides, reference materials and system plans and manuals.
  • Develop post-implementation support plans and conduct project closeout activities including lessons learned.

  • Experience as a department leader when preparing for technology and system changes.
  • Demonstrated time management, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Change management experience.
  • Experience of planning and executing a business system implementation, preferably with Workday.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
