This Opportunity:
Palladium's Economic Growth & Natural Capital (EGNC) Practice is seeking an Associate to support the management and delivery of projects and proposals across the EGNC, which includes international development, commercial clients, and direct-to-government advisory and consulting. This is an early professional role designed for candidates to build on project management skills while gaining exposure to donor-funded programs and global project operations.
Location:
The position is based in Palladium's Arlington, VA office within our Americas region. Candidates must have current work authorization in the US as we are unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Palladium supports a hybrid working model with 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Compensation:
The full-time annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $65,000 to $70,000. Please be advised that a final salary offer will be based on various factors, including but not limited to your qualifications, education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium's business or organizational needs.
Reporting Lines:
This role will report to a Manager in the EGNC team, with secondary reporting lines to project leaders
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support project management and administration activities across the project lifecycle, including maintaining project documentation, trackers, calendars, meeting records, action items, and reporting requirements to support effective project delivery
• Assist with reviewing project documents, budgets, procurements, reports, and records to help ensure compliance with client requirements, company policies, internal controls, and contractual obligations
• Support the administration of subcontracts, grants, partner and vendor agreements, work orders, and other project-related contractual and operational documentation
• Contribute to project reporting, client communications, stakeholder engagement, and coordination with partners, vendors, and internal teams to support successful project implementation and delivery
• Assist with budget development, expenditure tracking, forecasting, financial reporting, invoice processing, accruals, and other routine project financial management activities while ensuring adherence to key project deadlines
• Support business development activities, including recruitment and onboarding coordination, due diligence, proposal development, opportunity research, capture planning, and implementation planning to contribute to project and organizational growth

Essential Criteria:

• 2-3 years of work experience with ability to demonstrate strong coordination and communication skills
• Works with respect and dignity for all colleagues and contributes to a cooperative team working environment
• Basic understanding of management including organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Financial acumen and the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports
• Sound problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team when required

Desirable Criteria:

• Advanced Spanish or French language skills preferred
• Previous experience in international development and/or with donors is preferred
