This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.
SUMMARY: As a Payroll Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You'll oversee semi-monthly payroll processing, maintain timekeeping records, resolve payroll discrepancies, and partner with the HR and Finance to support a seamless payroll experience across Sono Bello's nationwide network of clinics and corporate teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employee's hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, garnishments, final pay calculations, new hire calculations, timesheet exceptions and other payroll information.
- Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for statutory taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
- Ensures payroll processing in compliance with local, state and federal laws and adheres to company policy and procedures.
- Creates payroll journal entry for accounting upload.
- Issues off cycle checks for final termination pay and other off cycle payments as required.
- Submit and reconcile HSA deposits with 3rd party vendor.
- Manage payroll in-box and resolve payroll inquiries.
- Set up and run various reports as required.
- Updates payroll procedures documents.
- Continuously assess and improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices to streamline workflow.
- Lead, support and assist with special projects, optimization initiatives, system implementations, and ad hoc analyses
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study.
- Minimum two years' experience with multi-state end to end payroll processing in a large organization.
- Experience with UKG and/or ADP.
- Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills using data filtering, tables, and VLOOKUP.

COMPENSATION:
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly range of $37.00- $40.85 hour, depending on experience.
