Pay - $50k-$60k

Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team in Upper Arlington, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting and payroll professional who enjoys working with numbers, ensuring accuracy, and providing exceptional support to employees and management.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and assisting with payroll reporting. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and able to manage confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time

  • Review and verify employee timekeeping records

  • Maintain payroll records and employee information

  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations

  • Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies

  • Prepare payroll-related reports and reconciliations

  • Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 preparation

  • Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments on payroll matters

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
