Qualifications

  • 10+ years of transportation operations leadership experience, ideally within shuttle, motorcoach, public transit, or similar environments.
  • Proven experience leading multi-site, multi-shift operations with managers, supervisors, and frontline teams.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, scheduling, vehicle utilization, safety, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated success driving culture change, operational improvements, and team performance.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing, payroll, customer relationships, and contract requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Resilient, accountable leader who can effectively navigate pushback and drive change.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; fleet management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day Louisiana Shuttle Operations, overseeing managers, supervisors, and multi-site operational teams.
  • Drive operational excellence, safety, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and contract compliance.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers and address operational concerns proactively.
  • Establish performance expectations, monitor key metrics, and hold leaders accountable.
  • Optimize vehicle utilization, scheduling, staffing, and operational processes.

  • Lead cultural and organizational change while fostering a strong safety and accountability culture.
  • Manage operational budgets, financial performance, and payroll processes.
  • Partner with HR on staffing, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and Business Development to establish operational goals and strategies.
  • Analyze performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and mentor managers and frontline leaders to elevate team performance.
