Job description

Truck Country is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations while ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, weekly. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role within a stable, family-owned organization.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support the payroll team in processing accurate weekly payroll
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Prepare payroll reports including wages, PTO accruals, taxes, deductions, and year-end reporting
  • Resolve payroll issues and provide exceptional support to employees and leaders
  • Manage payroll-related journal entries and general ledger reporting
  • Oversee wage garnishments and payroll tax compliance
  • Establish employer accounts for newly formed entities
  • Recommend and implement payroll process improvements
  • Partner with Human Resources on benefits administration, compensation programs, and employee support initiatives


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll systems and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
