Healthcare Payroll Assistant / Timekeeper

Location: New York, NY
Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $28/hour on W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant / Timekeeper to support accurate payroll processing, employee timekeeping, payroll transactions, and employee records. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing timesheets, resolving payroll discrepancies, processing adjustments, and maintaining confidential payroll information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process hourly and salaried payroll and review employee timesheets for accuracy.
  • Review and process payroll-related transactions, including overtime and pay adjustments.
  • Handle wage garnishments and payroll transfers.
  • Review and maintain benefits deductions and leave/absence records.
  • Audit timekeeping and payroll entries to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll and timekeeping records.
  • Ensure payroll data integrity and compliance with established procedures.
  • Support payroll documentation and accounting-related projects.
  • Coordinate timely approvals and ensure accurate payroll submissions.
  • Research and resolve employee payroll and timekeeping issues.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information.

Required Qualifications
