Overview

The HR Assistant will directly assist Human Resources Leadership with a wide range of projects related to HR Compliance, Recruiting, Employee Benefits and Wage and Salary Administration.ย 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with the maintenance of employee and medical files and forms management.
  • Assists with new employee paperwork, payroll issues related to onboarding and termination, use of a payroll management database, and report generation
  • Front Desk Receptionist backup for lunch and breaks
  • Assist in the preparation for benefits open enrollment and any new vendor implementations.
  • Assist with data entry or data review within HR related systems
  • Work in conjunction with the HR Leadership Team and HR staff on various special projects or duties as requested
  • May assist with various compliance initiatives and other general projects that may provide an opportunity to grow meaningful experience in the HR field
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

Education:

  • HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience:

  • General HR knowledge preferred; previous administrative experience preferred. General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Work and Excel required; HRIS experience preferred
