Payroll Coordinator
Position Summary: Payroll Coordinator position is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a period payroll and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees. The Payroll Administrator will also assist upper management with information on employees as required.

Essential Functions:
  • Input new hires and personnel changes into the system.
  • Process terminations in system.
  • Enter pay details into payroll system(s).
  • Answer telephone promptly.
  • Ability to answer questions regarding payroll policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
  • Must possess sound decision-making skills and multi-task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlines

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience processing Multi-State Payroll preferred.
  • Compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check upon offer of employment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Present a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code.
  • Available to work a (minimum) 40-hour week.

  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time
  • Constant interaction with computers and prolonged periods of viewing monitors

  • May be required to climb stairs
