Responsibilities

The payment processing coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payment workflows, and ensuring timely and organized documentation of transactions. While primarily focused on group movement payments, payments for transient travelers will also be required.

Payment Processing:

  • Process outgoing payments, including invoices and electronic transactions
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update tracking systems regularly
  • Verify payment details and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Prepare and organize financial documents, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Monitor payment schedules and follow up on outstanding items

Customer Service:

  • Communicate with client regarding payment status
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
  • Perform general clerical duties such as data entry and document management

Vendor Liaison:

  • Maintain relationship with hoteliers and other vendors payments are made do
  • Have contacts for prompt issue resolution

Internal:

  • Meet with Service Delivery manager weekly and monthly to review payment processing
  • Work with team agents when a CMC request is made to pay for an ad-hoc request
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Sabre GDS is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (word, excel)
  • Consistently demonstrates master of the guiding principles in daily work habits
  • Knows when to escalate to a leader
  • Strong understanding of key ALTOUR initiatives
