Opportunity

As a Customer Service Associate II in a high-end grocery store, you are the final touchpoint in the customer's shopping experience. You provide warm, professional service while efficiently processing transactions. Your attention to detail, product knowledge, and hospitality help reinforce the store's premium brand.    

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet customers with a polished, friendly demeanor 
  • Provide personalized service, including product recommendations and assistance with loyalty programs 
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor concerns with grace and professionalism 
  • Accurately scan and ring up purchases using the POS system 
  • Process payments via cash, credit, mobile pay, gift cards, and various other forms of payment 
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store policies 
  • Handle gift cards sales and special orders 
  • Ensure proper handling of high-value items and specialty products 
  • Assist with phone calls, paging, and intercom announcements  
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well stocked, and welcoming checkout area 
  • Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment 
  • Assist with bagging and offer carry-out service when appropriate 
  • Communicate effectively with front-end and other department teams 
  • Support other areas during peak times or special events 
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay informed about new products and promotions 
  • Follow all cash handling procedures and store policies 
  • Monitor for potential loss prevention issues and report concerns 
  • Ensure accurate pricing and promotional application 
  • Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management  

This is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 5:30 am and 8:30 pm.
