RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Position Summary: Post all payments from insurance carriers and patients in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Balance daily work between practice management system and bank report.
  • Work with multiple software systems and websites.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or GED required. -
  • 1-2 years' experience in processing cash and insurance payment transactions in a medical setting or a relevant financial background or any combination of the two is preferred. -
  • Understanding of insurance payment processes and how to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) is preferred. -
  • Ability to process a large amount of transactions with a high degree of accuracy preferred.
  • Proficient in working with figures and strong analytical skills. -
  • Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
