How you'll add value
As a key member of Paycor's Executive Committee, the Head of Sales - Enterprise is responsible for developing and executing effective strategies for driving Paycor's desired business outcomes within its sales organization. The Head of Sales - Enterprise - will provide action-oriented vision and leadership enabling Paycor to achieve its strategic Sales, revenue, and profitability objectives. The Head of Sales - Enterprise is also responsible for managing the growth and development of the sales infrastructure / operations to ensure achievement of current and future sales / retention goals. The right person for this role is driven, a big thinker, and highly customer service oriented and drives cross-functional leadership to drive referrals across the OnePaychex suite. A successful Head of Sales - Enterprise - will have a passion for building new business, possess excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate can visualize, articulate, and sell a vision for the future, and ensure that it's aligned to Paycor's needs and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Duties and Core Responsibilities
  • Leads and reinforces the company culture and values across the entire Sales organization
  • Directs and drives staffing goals for the Enterprise sales teams in territories without direct management and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values
  • Sets examples for Sales Representatives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Sales Leaders to build motivation and selling skills. Provides leadership to ensure the achievement of sales revenue targets and profitability related to knowledge of Paychex and Paycor's products and services, clients, and key competitors in the sales process and uses that knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value based

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record in leading a sales/service team: sales skill development, pipeline management, forecasting, and team development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Strong customer service orientation
