By dealing games efficiently, safeguarding the integrity of every hand, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at the table, you ensure guests enjoy a smooth and entertaining visit. Through exceptional service, strong game knowledge, and a commitment to upholding regulatory and company standards, you bring the Live! brand to life and help make each guest's experience truly unforgettable.
Compensation: $4.50/hr - $5.50/hr
Earning potential: hourly + tip rate of mid $50,000 for full-time hours.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Dealing the game.
  • Controlling gaming cards and equipment.
  • Protect company assets by monitoring guests' movements at table at all times.
  • Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play.
  • Engaging with guests.
  • Paying wins/Taking losses.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:
  • Ability to:
    • Speak English clearly, listen and follow directions.
    • Accurately complete paperwork and forms.
    • Use chips, cards, and a paddle.
    • Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
    • Perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Specified games and gaming regulations.
    • Money and chips designations
    • Theft techniques.
    • Company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience as a casino dealer OR certification from an accredited dealer school.
  • Experience dealing at least two (2) of the following games: Black Jack, Craps or Roulette and working knowledge of novelty games.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:
  • 10% Walking
  • 15% Bending (from waist)
  • 75% Standing
  • Ability to make repetitive hand motions.
  • Use of stairs and elevators

Working Conditions:
  • 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
  • Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
  • You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
