Compensation

Starting at $16.50/hour

Responsibilities
  • Assists with coverage on various shifts during other security officer's vacations, call-outs, leave of absences or special events.
  • Responds to and assists with all emergencies.
  • Monitors CCTV for any safety and security issues.
  • Performs mobile patrols throughout Willow Valley properties, with special focus on parking lots and resident dwellings.
  • Performs foot patrols looking for any security and safety issues.
  • Enforces policies and procedures, such as loitering, smoking, unauthorized removal of Willow Valley property, as well as contacting local authorities to report any suspicious or criminal activities.
  • Looks for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked or need of service. May be required to clean up minor water leaks and/or plunge toilets and other first echelon maintenance tasks.
  • Observes arriving and departing personnel to deter against theft of company and resident property.
  • Conducts visitor check-in and permits only authorized persons to enter property; may escort guests/contractors/vendors.
  • Sounds alarm or calls police and/or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Reports Team Members who are observed violating company policies and/or procedures.
  • Regulates Residents, Team Member, and Visitor parking.
  • Performs preliminary investigations of all reported safety, security and transportation issues.
  • Assists with fire and safety inspections throughout Willow Valley Communities, ensuring that Willow Valley is in compliance with OSHA/NFPA/NEC/DOH standards.
  • Performs on the spot safety inspections to ensure contractors/subcontractors are following Willow Valley's Safety Guidelines.
  • Complete Incident Reports accurately and timely.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid PA Driver's License and pass a MVR check
  • High school diploma or GED required; or 6-12 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Schedule & Hours
  • 36-40 hours per week:
    • Monday-Friday: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
    • Plus every other weekend and every other holiday
