A Patient Companion facilitates the provision of close patient monitoring and surveillance for a patient who is classified as actively a danger to self and/or others. A Patient Companion performs specific tasks and functions as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse and according to established practices and procedures. Completion of high school level course work preferred.
