Job description

Position: Patient Support Specialist

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

General Job Duties

Check in and check out patients, answer phones, medical records, authorizations and misc. duties including: entering patient information into the computer, assisting patients with questions or issues, making follow-up appointments, posting charges and balancing money. When answering the phones: schedule appointments, assist callers, take triage messages and route calls appropriately. Greet visitors and vendors and direct them to the appropriate personnel. May have to fill in for Urgent Care when necessary. May have to travel to offices as needed.
