Patient Service Center - Lead Patient Access Associate - Patient Service Center
Full-Time (40 hours)
Oversees the daily operations of the patient registration process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent patient service. This role involves leading a team of registration representatives, providing training and support, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. The Lead also handles complex patient inquiries, resolves issues, and contributes to the overall
effectiveness of the patient access department
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with an ability to perform in an emergency situation and possess good communication skills. Hospital experience preferred.
Functions of the Position (not an exhaustive list):
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of registration staff
- Train new employees and provide ongoing support
- Quality audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Develop and implement registration protocols and workflows, monitor metrics, and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
