The Staff Pad has partnered with a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Pomona, CA that is committed to providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities. We are seeking a compassionate, bilingual Outreach & Enrollment Specialist who is passionate about helping patients access the care and resources they need. What You'll Do As an Outreach & Enrollment Specialist, you'll become a trusted resource for patients by helping them navigate insurance, financial assistance programs, and available healthcare services. Your responsibilities will include: Guide patients through registration, enrollment, and appointment scheduling Assist patients with insurance applications, renewals, and eligibility verification Conduct financial screenings and help patients qualify for discounted healthcare services Educate patients on available programs, benefits, and community resources Help remove barriers to care by coordinating transportation, interpretation services, and community referrals Build strong relationships with patients while providing exceptional customer service Maintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record Partner with clinical and administrative teams to improve patient engagement and continuity of care Participate in community outreach events to educate and connect patients with healthcare services Track outreach activities and support organizational quality initiatives Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and wants to continue growing their career in healthcare. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting such as: Medical Assistant Patient Services Representative (PSR) Medical Receptionist Patient Access Representative Referral Coordinator Insurance Verification Specialist Healthcare Enrollment or Eligibility Specialist FQHC experience is a plus, but not required Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (NextGen preferred) You'll Be Successful If You Have Excellent customer service and communication skills A passion for helping patients navigate the healthcare system Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Experience verifying insurance or working with Medi-Cal, Medicare, or Covered California (preferred) Comfort using Microsoft Office and healthcare software systems Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Reliable transportation for occasional community outreach activities Why Join This Team.
