Position Details:

  • Main Office Location: Stoneham, MA
  • Service Area: Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Lynnfield, Malden, Middleton, North Reading, Peabody, Reading, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, and Wakefield areas.
  • Job Type: Full Time; Per Diem applicants are welcome to apply.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including functional status, home environment, and equipment needs.
  • Evaluate work capacity and provide vocational training referrals when necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with achievable goals.
  • Train patients in daily activities, prosthetics, orthotics, and adaptive equipment use.
  • Maintain accurate records and report patient condition changes promptly.
  • Educate families and caregivers on treatment plans.
  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants and home health aides.
  • Participate in training, meetings, and case reviews.
  • Refer patients to additional services as needed and coordinate discharge planning.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree from an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Additionally, be registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a current BLS CPR certification.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable, insured vehicle.

Our Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

  • Short-Term Disability 100% Employer-funded
  • Three weeks of PTO during first two years, increase to four weeks after two years of being benefits eligible.
