This position requires expertise in all aspects of Genitourinary Pathology; additionally, experience with adrenal resections and biopsies is preferred. Those who are willing to provide additional coverage in other services areas such as Gastrointestinal, Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology, and/or Cytopathology are also encouraged to apply. Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and effective communication with an active clinical care team that provides statewide integrated care is required.
The successful candidate will be eligible for membership in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, with opportunities to collaborate with a robust array of basic, translational, and clinical researchers. In addition to teaching clinical residents and fellows, opportunities are available for teaching in the School of Medicine, Graduate School, and Undergraduate School.
