Key Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Hold a valid professional license and educator certificate
- Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience required
- Applicants must not be Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates
- Ability to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to start date
- Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students as assigned
- Assess, diagnose, and create tailored treatment plans for individuals or small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s educational success
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
- Provide regular progress reports and adjust interventions as appropriate
- Serve as a resource within the school community regarding speech and language
