Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist! Situated conveniently near Durham, this on-site, part-time position offers you a chance to make a difference throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Interviews are scheduled for the week of 6/22, and the assignment begins on July 1, lasting through June 30, 2027.

Your expertise in communication disorders will support students’ growth and empower them with essential skills for success. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and staff in a dynamic educational environment, with specific school assignments and caseload details to be determined.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) credential; no Clinical Fellows (CFYs) at this time
  • Valid professional license and educator certificate
  • Minimum of one year of school-based SLP experience
  • Eligible for a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and registration with NC Tracks before the start date
  • Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting prior to onboarding
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with flexible assignments spanning potentially multiple schools and age groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
