Flexible Part-Time School-Based SLP Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an elementary school team in Columbus, Ohio. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload while helping students develop essential communication skills that support academic and social success.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will perform evaluations, provide direct therapy services, maintain documentation, and collaborate with educators and families to support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students.
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and professional practice standards.

QualificationsRequired
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Ability to perform evaluations, treatment planning, and therapy services.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience.
- Current CPR Certification, if applicable.
- Current Health Certificate, if required.
- TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray, if required.
Compensation
- Pay Rate: $70.00 per hour
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,400
- Overtime available in accordance with applicable policies.
