Lamp Rynearson, Inc., an engineering, land planning, land surveying, and consulting firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people, has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Survey Party Chief in our Kansas City office. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team. Our survey party chiefs collect, process, and analyze field data, communicate with both internal and external clientele, coordinate, direct, and train field personnel to efficiently complete projects, and properly maintain the survey equipment and trucks. A successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, including aerial fixed-wing and rotary drones, aquatic drones, 3D scanners, GPS, and total stations.

Qualifications include...

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong understanding of mathematics, surveying principles and QA/QC processes
  • Ability to efficiently perform multiple types of surveys including but not limited to ALTA, boundary, construction, and topographic surveys
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to periodically work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays, as needed
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Pass background check

Ideal candidate will possess...

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • Desire to explore and develop new technologies
  • Photogrammetry and/or scanning experience
