Job description

Rydell Auto Center is one of the largest & best selling automotive retailers across North Dakota. We are seeking qualified and flexible candidates to apply for our growing Parts team.

The primary purpose of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist is to verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment by performing the essential job requirements to quality and productivity standards.

Pay/Schedule

  • Pay is $17/hour
  • Schedule of 11am-7pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise and match purchase orders to sales orders
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for parts, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to shipping or to designated areas
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory, movement of inventory and organization of shipping and receiving area
  • Take care of cores, damages and fascias
  • Run parts twice a day to Rydell Body Shop
  • Run parts between Rydell GM / Honda – Nissan / Toyota.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure proper productivity of Parts department 
  • Willingness to work late nights when needed during winter/busy months

Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate, cooperate, interpret and communicate information 
  • Efficiently use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge and ability to make decisions
  • Understanding of proper packaging methods
  • Must be able to lift at least 75lbs
  • Must have clean driving record and valid driver's license
