Position Summary

TheParts Manager (L5)is responsible for leading the complete parts and warehouse operation for our Wastebuilt Phoenix, AZ location. This role has full ownership of financial performance, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, safety, and team development. The Parts Manager ensures reliable, efficient fulfillment while driving continuous improvement, cost discipline, and a highperformance culture aligned with Wastebuilt's operational and customer standards.

This is a senior, handson leadership role suited for an experienced operations leader who thrives in a fastpaced, servicedriven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Business Ownership

  • Own full P&L accountability for the parts operation, including revenue, margin, expenses, and working capital.

  • Enforce pricing and discount discipline in partnership with sales and operations.

  • Develop, manage, and deliver annual operating plans and budget targets.

  • Identify and execute costreduction and productivity improvement opportunities.

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Lead all aspects of customer support, including order fulfillment, responsiveness, issue resolution, and escalations.

  • Ensure bestinclass quotetoorder execution, accuracy, and turnaround time.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to drive satisfaction, loyalty, and growth.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management

  • Own the inventory strategy, including stocking levels, replenishment, and reduction of slowmoving or obsolete inventory.

  • Ensure accurate and timely cycle counts and inventory controls.

  • Leverage ERP and data insights to improve forecast accuracy and inventory turns.

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

  • Oversee receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery performance.

  • Ensure ontime, accurate customer deliveries while maintaining operational efficiency.

  • Maintain facility standards, layout, and workflow to support safety, productivity, and scalability.

Safety, Compliance & Asset Stewardship

  • Serve as the safety leader for the parts operation, ensuring compliance with all safety policies, regulations, and training.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and auditready facility.

  • Ensure responsible stewardship of inventory, equipment, and company assets.

People Leadership & Talent Development

  • Hire, train, develop, and retain a highperforming parts team.

  • Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.

  • Conduct performance reviews and manage corrective action when necessary.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

  • Standardize processes and lead improvement initiatives across service, efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance.

  • Participate in branch and regional initiatives and bestpractice sharing.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in parts, warehouse, or operations roles.

  • 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership and expense control.

  • Deep knowledge of inventory management, cycle counting, and supply chain fundamentals.

  • Proven ability to manage customer escalations and deliver service excellence.

  • Experience using ERP and inventory management systems.

  • Strong communication, coaching, and problemsolving skills.

Preferred

  • Experience leading operations in a servicedriven or multifunctional environment.

  • Lean, continuous improvement, or operational excellence background.
