Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Partnerships, the Director, Partnerships will be is focused on leading new business development and supporting launch, activation and partner relationships for all data, and CMN partnerships. Collaborate across marketing, loyalty and other partnerships teams to more broadly develop these relationships into commercial opportunities. A focus on securing and growing the value of new Partnerships across key categories, including travel, retail, entertainment, media, lifestyle, luxury, wellness, amongst others.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, business development, media, and commercialization. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, negotiation prowess, with experience building and scaling commercial partnership.
As a key member of the Commerce Media Network (CMN) leadership team, you will help shape the future of Hilton's commercial partnerships ecosystem, developing solutions that create value for guests, partners, owners, and Hilton, while upholding the trust and brand standards that define the Hilton experience.
This position represents the business interests of both Hilton and each Partner, with the primary goal of creating commercial value from Hilton's assets and activating all partnerships across the Program's global products and platforms to create incremental value and demonstrable ROI for Program and Partners alike. The role is focused on the new business development and optimization of a robust partnership sales pipeline & process, onboarding model, and growth strategy to secure, develop, launch, activate, and grow the value of strategically aligned partnerships with high-profile brands that accelerate member engagement and drive sustainable revenue generation for Hilton.
What you'll do during a typical day:
  • Work with the CMN leadership & cross-functional teams to develop and execute a data & media partnership business development plan - focused on partnership categories, across domestic and global markets - adding new partners to support commercial goals, while delivering value to members and brand affinity to the Program and partners alike. Continuously monitor the competitive landscape to inform the strategic direction.
  • Oversee developing and maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospective partners across leading B2C (& possibly B2B) categories and brands. Establish and optimize an integrated sales process with other business units to support revenue growth from new partnerships. Oversee contract negotiations to onboard new partners, ensuring contract compliance with intercompany agreements.
  • In partnership with the Head of Media & Ad Product, develop pricing frameworks, packaging strategies and forecasting models, Hilton's assets to maximize revenue and contribution margin.
  • Support the team to create and execute best in class Partnership experiences, products, operating models and marketing campaigns for new Partnerships, to generate buzz, bring the value of the Program to life for members across all categories of discretionary consumer spend, and maximize ROI for all stakeholders.
  • Work in partnership with other Hilton business units to develop and execute the strategy to collaborate, cross-sell and further monetize Partnerships in collaboration with teams leading new and emerging opportunities to expand the value of Partnerships and member data.
  • Establish standards for campaign measurement, audience performance, and business impact reporting.
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to operationalize ad tech integrations, measurement frameworks (including incrementality and attribution), and performance reporting that enable closed-loop insights and operational efficiency.

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Work closely with the Vice President, Commercial Partnerships to align product priorities with enterprise strategy, P&L objectives, and governance guardrails.
  • Partner the Head of Media & Ad Products to develop media kits, rate cards, playbooks, and commercialization frameworks that accelerate pipeline conversion and advertiser retention.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Legal/Privacy, Brand, Digital, Loyalty, and Finance teams to ensure product execution aligns with Hilton's guest-first standards, brand integrity, and compliance requirements.

Deliverables you'll take ownership of:
  • The CMN partnership roadmap and pipeline, including aligning with the Hilton Honors, media and other partnership teams.
  • CMN pricing models including packaging media and other assets to create packages & programs to maximize the commercial value of Hilton's assets and data.
  • Client Success metrics and ensuing we reach agreed upon partner objectives.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Ten (10) years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or partnership leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a business development or partnership function through periods of significant growth.
  • Experience developing, structuring, and negotiating complex, high-value loyalty, media, technology, or strategic partnership agreements.
  • Experience using data, analytics, and financial modeling to evaluate opportunities and inform business decisions.
  • Proven experience to develop and execute growth strategies that drive measurable business results.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple stakeholders, partnerships, and initiatives.
  • Travel up to 20%.

It would be useful if you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in digital media, advertising sales, lifecycle marketing, or technology-enabled marketing partnerships.
  • Expertise in data-driven marketing, commercial analytics, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Strong partnership sales, contract negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
  • Experience assessing partnership opportunities through financial analysis, business modeling, and ROI evaluation.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, and the Company's long-term incentive plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
