TheImpact You'll Make
As a Client Partner, you'll play a critical role in driving growth across Nextdoor's Central region, with a particular focus on the automotive industry and automotive media ecosystem. You'll own a strategic territory across the market, building and growing relationships with leading automotive brands, agencies, and media partners while identifying opportunities to expand Nextdoor's advertising business.
This is an opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented seller who understands the automotive marketplace and can translate deep industry relationships into meaningful business opportunities. You'll bring a consultative approach to advertisers and agencies, helping them understand how Nextdoor can support their marketing objectives while identifying whitespace across both existing and prospective accounts.
You'll own the full sales cycle, from developing pipeline and cultivating relationships to closing business and growing long-term partnerships. Success in this role requires a proactive hunter mentality paired with strong account management, strategic selling skills, and established relationships within the automotive ecosystem.
You'll also play an important role in helping Nextdoor deepen its presence within the automotive category, bringing customer and market insights back to inform our product, go-to-market strategy, and continued growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth across the Central region, with a particular focus on automotive
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the automotive industry and media landscape to identify high-value opportunities across brands, agencies, and other key stakeholders
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and develop strategies to expand Nextdoor's relationships with existing automotive advertisers and agency partners
  • Prospect, develop, and close net-new business while expanding revenue within existing accounts
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing leaders, agency partners, and key decision-makers
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor by deeply understanding advertiser objectives and recommending multi-funnel advertising solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Leverage customer and market insights to identify opportunities, shape account strategies, and drive meaningful business growth
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases that leverage data, storytelling, and industry insights to inspire customer confidence and drive business decisions
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline through disciplined opportunity management, accurate forecasting, and thoughtful prioritization
  • Partner closely with Ad Solutions, Marketing, Product, Measurement, and Operations to deliver successful campaigns and exceptional client experiences
  • Effectively manage advertiser expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle while identifying opportunities for long-term account growth and retention
  • Navigate complex enterprise buying processes and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment by balancing short- and long-term priorities while adapting quickly to evolving business needs.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals

What You'll Bring To The Team
  • 10+ years of experience driving enterprise advertising sales and new business development within digital media, advertising technology, automotive media, or related industries
  • Established relationships with automotive brands, agencies, and senior marketing leaders
  • Deep knowledge of the automotive advertising ecosystem, including experience selling media or advertising solutions to automotive clients
  • Proven success developing net-new business and growing revenue within an established territory, leveraging industry expertise and relationships to identify opportunities and open doors
  • Experience building strategic relationships with executive-level decision makers and navigating complex enterprise buying processes across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success managing a full sales cycle while consistently achieving or exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, platform-based media buying, and marketing objectives spanning brand awareness, performance marketing, and full-funnel strategies
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision makers
  • Experience developing strategic account plans and identifying whitespace opportunities that drive long-term customer growth
  • Experience with Salesforce and modern sales prospecting and intelligence tools (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pathmatics, Winmo, or similar platforms)
  • Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to independently manage a complex territory and multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Experience thriving in high-growth or rapidly evolving environments, with comfort navigating ambiguity, change, and evolving go-to-market strategies
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, sound judgment, and self-direction, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
  • A passion for building community, fostering inclusion, and contributing to a culture of belonging
  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with a demonstrated willingness to thoughtfully apply AI tools to improve productivity, customer outcomes, and the way work gets done
Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create our total rewards package. Compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
The compensation range for this role includes a base salary + commission structure with a 50:50 split. Commission will vary depending on your achievement of sales-related goals and objectives. The budgeted OTE (on-target earnings) inclusive of base + commission is in the range of $200,000 to $250,000 (base salary of $100,000 to $125,000) on an annualized basis, or potentially higher for candidates whose experience and/or performance expectations align with a higher level, as determined through the hiring process. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location and level, in partnership with the hiring team.
We expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With quarterly vesting, your first vest date will take place within 3 months of your start date.
