Position Introduction:
The University of Oklahoma College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support the expansion of graduate medical education through the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Rural Residency initiative. This grant-funded position plays a critical role in advancing rural healthcare workforce development across Oklahoma by coordinating and supporting residency training programs in rural and underserved communities.
The Program Manager will collaborate with College of Medicine departments, residency program leadership, rural healthcare organizations, community partners, state agencies, and funding entities to ensure successful implementation of program objectives, compliance requirements, and grant deliverables.
Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, program coordination, data collection and reporting, budget monitoring, and oversight of activities that strengthen rural residency training opportunities. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on rural health by helping develop the next generation of physicians who will serve Oklahoma's rural communities. Some travel to rural training sites and partner organizations throughout the state is required. As a grant-funded position, continued employment is contingent upon the availability of grant funding.

  • 48 months of program development, program management or related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 96 months of related experience.
