About the Role

The Operations Analyst is a key member of our Finance and Operations ecosystem. Working under the CFO and alongside the Director of Finance, this role maintains and advances PRFC's ERP and related systems. You'll collaborate with user groups, functional managers, development teams, and project teams to identify enhancements, improve configuration, and strengthen data integrity across the organization.

What You'll Do

ERP Management

  • Oversee day-to-day management of the ERP system and coordinate with our third-party ERP provider.
  • Recommend new features, modules, and configuration improvements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for business processes.
  • Train end users, establish departmental ERP leads, and promote confident, consistent system usage.
  • Troubleshoot ERP issues and document best practices.

Reports & Analytics

  • Manage sales, inventory, and operational reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support maintenance of ERP software and hardware to ensure seamless integration with operations and IT systems.

IT Coordination

  • Liaise PRFC's IT needs and work closely with third-party IT partners.
  • Support functional aspects of manufacturing modules, including sales, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and production.
  • Ensure integrity, efficiency, consistency, and timeliness of all data inputs.
  • Act as a liaison between PRFC and ERP support consultants to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assist with technical development work for ERP customizations.

General Responsibilities

  • Work with CFO to identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processesย 
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies and recommend practical applications for Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese. ย 
  • Adhere to company policies and industry regulations.ย 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย 

Schedule

Full-time, 32-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. Remote work may be accommodated depending on business needs. Weekly travel between PRFC locations (Point Reyes Station and Petaluma) is expected.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, systems management, business analytics, or a related field
  • ERP experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, data science, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Background in business administration, project management, or related field beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ERP development tools, coding languages, and business processes a plus.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities; data modeling required.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Acute attention to detail and a passion for data.

Physical Requirements
