How you'll demonstrate Ownership

As a Partner Marketing Manager at Cognite, you will play a crucial role in executing our go-to-market efforts and accelerating revenue growth through our strategic alliances and partnerships. Reporting to the CMO, you will be responsible for the hands-on deployment of comprehensive marketing programs that empower our partners (including system integrators, technology partners, and OEMs) to effectively position, sell, and implement Cognite's solutions.

This role requires a perfect blend of project management, execution excellence, and a deep understanding of partner marketing within the industrial AI and SaaS landscape. You will collaborate closely with Global Alliances, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, and our partners to maximize joint business outcomes.

What You'll DoPartner Enablement & Asset Creation
  • Joint Messaging & Collateral: Collaborate with partners and Product Marketing to build and deliver a robust portfolio of partner-facing assets, including co-branded collateral, messaging guides, solution briefs, case studies, and digital campaign kits.
  • Sales Enablement: Ensure partner sales and technical teams are equipped with the latest Cognite product messaging, value propositions, and competitive intelligence.
  • Brand Compliance: Provide marketing guidance to partners, ensuring all joint materials align seamlessly with Cognite's brand guidelines.
Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
  • Co-Marketing Campaigns: Design, launch, and manage end-to-end joint marketing plans with prioritized partners to generate awareness, drive demand, and build a qualified sales pipeline.
  • Events & Activations: Execute joint webinars, digital campaigns, content syndication, and partner workshops. Drive partner activation and sponsorships for Cognite field events and Impact, our global AI and data industry flagship event.
  • Partner Communication: Manage partner communication channels (newsletters, portals, and Slack/Teams networks) to keep partners informed of product updates, marketing initiatives, and success stories.
Operations & Analytics
  • PRM & MarTech Management: Utilize and optimize partner relationship management (PRM) platforms, asset management systems, and joint lead tracking tools to ensure seamless lead routing and attribution.
  • KPI & ROI Tracking: Track performance, analyze campaign data, and regularly report on KPIs and the ROI of partner marketing investments to internal leadership and partner stakeholders.
  • Budget Support: Help manage localized partner marketing budgets and market development funds (MDF) effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
The Impact you bring to Cognite
Who You Are
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or alliances marketing within an AI and/or B2B SaaS/enterprise software company.
  • Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong understanding of different industrial partner ecosystems (GSIs, regional SIs, ISVs, and OEMs) and how to effectively market to, through, and with them.
  • Execution Excellence: A proven track record of executing joint demand generation campaigns (digital, events, content) that resulted in measurable pipeline growth.
  • MarTech Savvy: Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms, LLMs and AI-native martech solutions.
  • Industry Familiarity: A solid understanding of the industrial sector (Energy, Process Manufacturing, Utilities, Pharma, etc.) and its unique digital transformation challenges is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with external partner marketing contacts.
