Job description

POSITION TITLE: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

LOCATION: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is hybrid with 2-3 days onsite. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who We Are:

TriNetX connects healthcare organizations and researchers across the globe so they can transparently see what's happening in real patient populations.

Our aim is simple and ambitious: Provide a clear path to trustworthy answers, whether your goal is to create promising new therapies, publish groundbreaking research, or improve health outcomes.

We keep identifiable data where it belongsโ€”inside more than 11,000+ clinical sites across 20+ countriesโ€”preserving security, provenance, and granularity. Our trusted partnerships with providers ensure high-fidelity data, and a properly governed linkage back to individual patients.

At TriNetX, we enable life sciences, healthcare, and academic institutions to strengthen human healthโ€”with data you can trace, evidence you can defend, and answers you can trust.

Who We Are Looking For:

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) will serve as the senior executive commercial leader at TriNetX, responsible for driving the company's global revenue strategy and go-to-market execution. This executive will own and integrate critical commercial functions โ€” marketing, commercial operations, healthcare organization (HCO)network opertaions, sales, and account management to deliver cohesive growth across all market segments. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CCO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a champion of TriNetX's mission to strengthen human health with data you can trust.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Strategic Commercial Leadership: Define and execute TriNetX's global commercial strategy across all revenue-generating and network-building functions. Serve as the primary commercial voice on the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO and Board on commercial direction, market positioning, and growth initiatives.
  • Marketing & Brand: Lead the global marketing function, including product marketing, demand generation, content, communications, and brand strategy. Drive integrated go-to-market campaigns that build brand awareness, generate qualified pipeline, and differentiate TriNetX in the market.
  • Commercial Operations: Oversee commercial operations including revenue operations, sales enablement, CRM strategy, forecasting, and compensation design. Ensure data-driven, scalable processes that allow the full commercial organization to operate with efficiency and accountability.
  • HCO Network Operations: Own the healthcare organization (HCO) network operations function, responsible for acquiring, onboarding, expanding, and retaining TriNetX's global network of healthcare member organizations. Develop and execute strategies to deepen HCO engagement, maximize data contribution, and grow the value of the network for all stakeholders.
  • Revenue Growth & Accountability: Set and achieve ambitious bookings and revenue targets across all commercial segments. Align Marketing, Commercial Operations, and HCO Network Operations with the Sales & Account Management organization to ensure seamless pipeline generation and client growth.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the connective tissue between Commercial, Product, Finance, Legal, and Operations. Ensure product roadmap, pricing, and delivery are tightly integrated with market feedback and commercial priorities.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Development: Build, lead, and scale a high-performing commercial organization. Develop and mentor senior leaders across marketing, commercial ops, and HCO network functions. Champion a culture of accountability, inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning: Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics across the global life sciences and real-world data landscape. Represent TriNetX at industry conferences, advisory boards, and strategic partner engagements.
What You Bring to TriNetX:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (VP, SVP, or C-suite) within life sciences, health technology, SaaS, or real-world data/analytics.
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling a commercial organization, with demonstrated success driving bookings and revenue growth across diverse market segments.
  • Deep experience leading and integrating multiple commercial functions, including marketing, commercial or revenue operations, and network or partner development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and manage healthcare organization, health system, or strategic partner networks at scale.
  • Experience working closely with and presenting to a Board of Directors and cross-functional executive leadership team.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, executive communication, and leadership presence โ€” able to inspire internal teams and represent TriNetX externally at the highest levels.
  • Strong analytical foundation with comfort owning commercial metrics, forecasting models, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed, high-growth environment with complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
