The Manager of Partner Development will recruit, develop, and sign new partners through multiple channels, including self-sourcing, trade shows, professional networking, inbound leads, personal connections, and company-driven marketing campaigns. The Manager of Partner Development will build and manage a pipeline of prospective partners and support the establishment of new partnerships. Partnerships are defined as independent software vendors (ISVs), value-added resellers (VARs), and POS software developers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Responsible for prospecting, identifying, qualifying, and signing new ISV, VAR, and POS software partnerships.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of new partner opportunities and drive qualified opportunities through the partner development process.
  • Support negotiation of contracts, Schedule A terms, and related partner documentation in collaboration with leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Execute GTM sales strategies and partner development campaigns to build and support ongoing new partner acquisition efforts.
  • Accurately document and demonstrate sales efforts through CRM updates, pipeline management, and metric-based reporting.
  • Achieve a solid understanding of the Fortis commerce platform and communicate the value of the platform to ISVs and other partnership opportunities.
  • Apply solution selling skills within payments, software, technology, or similar industries to align Fortis solutions with partner needs.
  • Deliver on value and not sell on price or revenue while collaborating with internal teams to support partner onboarding and long-term growth.

Salary range $65-80K plus commission

Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This is a remote position.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Physical Activities: Occasional standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 25 pounds.
