Responsibilities include :

  • Design and develop reusable Enterprise Cloud Architecture, Data & AI solution assets — including reference architectures, accelerators, frameworks, and proof-of-concept templates — that enable delivery teams to demonstrate value quickly and shorten time-to-value for client engagements.

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on Mid-Market AWS Business Group (AABG) solutions during sales pursuits, participating in client-facing presentations, orals, solution workshops, and RFP/RFI responses to articulate Accenture's technical vision and differentiated capabilities.

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership during project delivery, guiding solution design, validating architectural decisions, and advising delivery teams on best practices for data platforms, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI implementations.

  • Conduct independent quality assessments and architecture reviews of in-flight projects to evaluate solution soundness, adherence to enterprise standards, risk posture, and alignment with client business objectives — providing actionable recommendations for remediation.

  • Author technical whitepapers, solution briefs, and case studies that position Accenture's Cloud Architecture and Data & AI capabilities in the marketplace and support business development efforts.

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key technology partners (including architecture, data platform vendors and AI/ML tooling providers) to ensure proposed solutions leverage the latest platform capabilities and partnership incentives.

  • Mentor and upskill delivery architects and technical staff on emerging Enterprise Cloud, Data & AI trends, patterns, and technologies — raising the overall technical acumen of the practice.

  • Establish and evangelize architecture standards, design patterns, and governance frameworks for Data & AI solutions that ensure consistency, scalability, and quality across engagements.

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in Data & AI to inform Accenture's investment priorities, point-of-view development, and strategic positioning.

  • Support pursuit teams in estimating level of effort, defining delivery approaches, and shaping statements of work for Cloud Architecture, and Data & AI engagements — ensuring technical feasibility and realistic scoping.

  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to embed AI and advanced analytics into client solutions, driving measurable business outcomes and reinforcing Accenture's reputation as a market leader in Enterprise Cloud Architecture and Data & AI.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum 7 years hands-on keyboard AWS experience, with deeper capabilities and interests in specific services. Including in-depth knowledge and technical expertise of cloud, enterprise networking, with depth in AWS specific services and technology

  • Must have hands-on AWS experience with at least 1 implementation and/or Migration into AWS (preferred in an Enterprise scale environment)

  • Minimum of 4 years proven scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS EAC (environments as code)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Automation/IAC (infrastructure As Code) Solutions– CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, etc.

  • Minimum required AWS certification must include AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as:

  • § Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies

  • § CloudEndure, MGN, DataSync

  • § Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design

  • § Environment and application automation

  • § CloudFormation and third-party automation approach/strategy

  • § Network connectivity, Direct Connect and VPN

  • § AWS Cost Management and Optimization

  • A system engineering or developer background with the ability to learn quickly and share your knowledge with the broader team.
