Divided Sky Foundation is looking for an energetic, organized, and mission-drivenPart-Time Business Development Coordinator (20 hours per week) to join our exceptional team and help support recovery work that changes lives. Our approach is rooted in a 12-step, abstinence-based modeland grounded in the belief that recovery is not only possible, but that it can also be meaningful, connected, creative, and joyful.

In this role, you will use your exceptional relationship-building skills and knowledge of 12-step recovery, treatment and recovery resources, levels of care and other behavioral health resources within the state of Vermont to identify new partnership opportunities and build awareness of the Divided Sky recovery model.

As Part-Time Business Development Coordinator, you will actively play a part in developing connections and partnership opportunities within the Vermont behavioral health community to support individuals on their recovery journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking part-time employment (20 hours per week) in recovery-centered work, enjoys building relationships, managing their own schedule, thinking strategically, and traveling around the beautiful state of Vermont year-round. This is a fully remote position focused within the state of Vermont. This role reports to our Director of Business Development.


Accountabilities:

  • Accountdevelopmentincluding, but not limited to, new accountdevelopmentand maintenance of existing accounts in the Vermont market
  • Responsible for helping to develop and maintain a census for Divided Sky's Residential Recovery Program
  • Serve as the face of Divided Sky in the market, building, activating, and expanding referral relationships
  • Function as the liaison between Divided Sky and referralpartners to include assessing account needs and problem resolution
  • Schedule and host tours on-site at Divided Sky for the Vermont referral community
  • Represent Divided Sky at conferences, recovery events, community events, committees, etc., to help develop opportunities for referrals
  • Document meeting activity in CRM database
  • Other duties as may be assigned

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of 12-step, abstinence-based recovery within the Vermont recovery landscape. You do not need to have every preferred qualification, but you should be excited by the opportunity to support a recovery-centered mission and contribute to a team that takes the work seriously while also celebrating the joy, creativity, and connection that recovery makes possible.

  • Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently.
  • Must be organized, and creatively persistent in identifying newpartnership opportunities
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram form instructions.
  • Ability to be flexible in relation to department needs
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as needed

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 1 - 2 years of related experience, preferably in behavioral health setting
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of the Vermont recovery landscape required
  • Strategic territory management while maintaining strong visibility in the market
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM database
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation required

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Work Setting:Indoor and outside work will be required during all seasons.
  • Body Positioning:Spend time sitting and standing, making repetitive motions, keyboarding, spend time using hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Frequently lift or move up to 10 lbs.
  • Driving: Ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time; adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read road signs, maps, and vehicle instrumentation; adequate hearing (with or without hearing aids) to respond to traffic sounds and passenger needs; ability to turn, bend, reach, and twist as necessary for safe vehicle operation; ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., supplies, packages, small equipment); sufficient hand, arm, and leg coordination to operate steering wheel, pedals, and vehicle controls; ability to tolerate various weather conditions while entering/exiting the vehicle; ability to remain alert and attentive for extended driving periods; comfort and ability to drive year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Communication:Contact with others, electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, and video.
