Position Summary

Overton Industries is seeking an established Manufacturing Sales Executive to lead our efforts in driving new customer growth and expanding our footprint in the industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities within target markets and industries

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their manufacturing needs

  • Present and promote our manufacturing, machining, tooling, or production solutions to prospects

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets related to new customer acquisition and revenue growth

  • Network actively within industry events, trade shows, and online platforms to generate leads

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to tailor solutions that meet customer requirements

  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track all activities in our CRM system [Pipedrive]

  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development and marketing strategies

  • Potential to oversee existing customers that have growth opportunities, partnering with Project Managers who oversee the day-to-day business.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in manufacturing, machining, tool & die, or production stamping sales

  • Strong network within the manufacturing industry and experience developing new customer relationships

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and persistent in pursuing new business opportunities

  • Ability to understand technical products and communicate their benefits effectively

  • Must be comfortable with regular travel requirements

  • Flexibility in occasional remote work can be offered once goals are consistently met. Until that time, the expectation is to be in the office when not traveling.
