Job description

Join the excitement of a dynamic company committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

We are searching for a Full Time Clinical Neuropsychologist to work in our programs in Raleigh and Creedmoor, NC as part of an interdisciplinary team providing post-acute brain injury rehabilitation program. We are looking for someone with rehabilitation psychology/neuropsychology experience but who is a well-rounded clinician who can provide guidance on general mental health issues in addition to assessment and therapy as indicated. Patients participate in residential and outpatient services focused on functional recovery after neurological injury and may be coping with various psychological issues including adjustment disorder, depression/anxiety, PTSD, family stressors, personality disorders, abuse and substance abuse histories. There is an opportunity to help build programming for families and caregivers as well.

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Provides assessment and treatment for clients in our residential/outpatient programs as referred
  • Is a member of the interdisciplinary team and works collaboratively with rehab therapists, physicians, clients, families and funders to support client outcomes and program development.
  • There is an opportunity to participate in program development, educational presentations and supervise psychology students if interested.


Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. from an APA - accredited institution in clinical psychology or counseling psychology along with a North Carolina license to provide psychological counseling services, is preferred.
  • Specialization in rehabilitation psychology, neuropsychology is preferred.
  • Master's level clinicians with appropriate experience, licensure and a passion for this population will be considered
  • Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
