Job description

Intern duties and responsibilities will vary by specific assignment. Internships are only available to recent graduates, with a maximum one-year to 18 months in duration. The purpose of all internships should be to provide the incumbent with a "well rounded" work experience in the assigned area. See the job details section for specific areas of work.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with operations management of the department by managing the student team, front office, and student-interfacing processes.
  • Assist with all technical and data processes and systems at ISS.
  • Assist with regular and customized reporting and audit tracking.
  • Assist with Workday integration tasks and projects, including transition to the WD SIS.
  • Assist with documentation of all business processes and workflow.
  • Assist with data tracking and forecast mapping for past, current, and future data of international student life cycle phases.
  • Assist with technical support on all communication projects through various platforms, namely Sunapsis, WD, FileMaker, Box, CMS (Brightspot), etc.
  • Assist with website tasks and projects to maintain updated information at all times.
  • Prepare, examine, or analyze various records, files, and reports to assess data accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and other procedural standards.
  • Assist with programming, assessments, program evaluations, pre-arrival and exit procedures to improve student services and experience for F-1 and J-1 students.
  • Assist with transitional processes for discontinued, graduated, and post-completion completed students to ensure efficacy and excellence.
  • Assist with monitoring of EVs on pre- and post-completion AT.
  • Assist with intake, notes, documentation, and follow-up of compliance cases.
