If you care about moving a mission forward as much as advancing the field of data science, this is the opportunity for you. Your deep analytics expertise, coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects with your experience with analytic methodologies, knowledge graphs, and ontologies for the Department of Defense.
As an Analytic Methodologist on our Space and Military Intelligence team, you'll learn and apply innovative methodologies to make a real-world impact on national security. You'll grow your skills in data modeling and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.

Whether you're resolving key intelligence questions or providing quantitative and qualitative analysis to senior leaders, you'll guide a team that serves missions from end to end.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience working with ambiguous information, deconstructing key questions, and developing and evaluating analytic methodologies
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining domain-specific ontologies
  • Experience applying semantic web standards to knowledge model entities, relationships, and vocabulary in accordance with industry and government data standards
  • Experience with semantic data retrieval and reasoning via multiple protocols
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community
  • Experience facilitating the integration of data sources and ensuring interoperability with various systems
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in analytical methodology development, or 12+ years of experience in analytical methodology development in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
