An exciting opportunity exists to provide healthcare in a rural community as a Registered Nurse in Milk River, Alberta. The Town of Milk River (population about 825) is located about 300 kilometers southeast of Calgary and about an hour southeast of Lethbridge. It is the only place you can reach the US border in 10 minutes' drive! Visit the spectacular Waterton National Park in just over an hour's drive, and ancient Indigenous stone writings only a half hour away! Along with its extremely low land prices, friendly small-town living, and its close proximity to both Lethbridge and the Canada/United States Border, and the warm Southern Alberta chinooks, Milk River is an attractive place to call home. Serving the farming and ranching community, the Milk River Health Centre provides a range of health care services to including emergency, long term care, lab & diagnostic imaging, along with other allied health programs.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.
